Aya and Alaa

One simple decision changed everything for Aya and Alaa.

When their parents chose not to enroll them in school during their early years and instead taught them to read and write at home, it was an unconventional choice, one that shaped their future in ways no one could have predicted.

What began as an alternative approach to learning became the foundation of a journey that would set them apart, making them symbols of creativity and knowledge in Abu Dhabi.

A Childhood Beyond the Ordinary

While most children their age were sitting in classrooms, Aya and Alaa grew up surrounded by books, their stories unfolding between the pages long before they ever sat at a school desk.

Their parents’ decision to homeschool them in their early years was not just a simple, unordinary choice, but the foundation of Aya and Alaa’s identity. Fluent in classical Arabic from a young age, they embraced their language not as a subject to study, but as a living part of who they were.

It wasn’t just a way of speaking; it was an expression of culture, a connection to their heritage, a reflection of their pride in their roots and their openness to the world around them.

Two Paths, One Dream

As they grew older, Aya was drawn to inventions and programming, while Alaa found her passion in design. Though their interests took them in different directions, their paths were never truly separate.

They shared every discovery, celebrated every achievement, and turned each new experience into a step toward something greater.

From Curiosity to The Spotlight

Every lesson they learned found a way into their lives, shaping the paths they would take.

For Aya, watching inventors on YouTube sparked a fascination that turned her into a young innovator, experimenting with ideas and testing creations in the kitchen. For Alaa, what started as a lighthearted joke from a teacher about how much they talked became the push that led her into the world of voiceover and media.

What began as a love for language and storytelling soon took them beyond their books, from speaking in classical Arabic at home to recording in studios, appearing on screens, and even exploring new languages like Japanese. Wherever they went, they carried their voices, their creativity, and their unmistakable mark.

A Living Reflection of Abu Dhabi

Today, Aya and Alaa embody the spirit of Abu Dhabi, where heritage meets progress. Through inventions, design, media, and knowledge-sharing, they continue to inspire, proving that every learning experience matters, and every passion finds its path.
